Adam is a multidisciplinary, global executive based in Portland, OR. After many years in corporate leadership roles, he now focuses on executive and team coaching and advisory engagements.

Always a student of life, Adam has lived and worked in more than two dozen countries; sailed across the Pacific Ocean; written case studies for Harvard Business School; led diverse, global teams for a decade at Nike and pursued a range of vocations over the last twenty-five years--as a business journalist, international aid worker, R&D director, real estate executive, strategy consultant and performance coach. These experiences help generate unique perspectives and insights.

In his spare time, Adam can be often found building in his workshop with family and friends, distance cycling, or hosting community events. Mikata Garage is the embodiment of his personal and professional pursuits.
